Helping justice-impacted citizens find hope.

Fighting recidivism, addressing trauma, and teaching real skills.

An estimated 68% of released prisoners are re-arrested within 3 years, 79% within 6 years, and 83% within 9 years (NCJ Number 250975, May 2018, Recidivism of Prisoners Released).  Without a plan, without education, without a body of supporters who care to help these broken and shattered people, and not knowing or learning a different way, two-thirds of these prisoners will fall victim again to temptation, poor choices, and the cruelties of human life – and their cycle of abuse and legal entanglements will continue.  If these incarcerated citizens go into jail and/or prison with no skills or tools for accountability or response-ability – likewise exiting with no skills or tools – their lives will not change. Prison or jail will likely be in their future again.

This is why we have created the spiritually grounded GO Broken to Beautiful™ Foundation, Inc. and call our efforts, The Prison Project. As we teach the GO Broken to Beautiful™ and GO Broken to Badass™ Courses, combined with Neural Linguistic Programming (NLP), to address trauma and PTSD issues, incarcerated and previously incarcerated citizens embrace a new identity fortified by real skills, tools, and principles that help them live a life of accountability and response-ability. If incarcerated citizens truly internalize the lessons that help them go from survival to stability, from success to significance, they begin living and directing their lives on purpose—with purpose—changing the face of our nation one soul at a time, and ending the generational curses of addiction, and crime, indigence, and abuse.

This short video will give you insight into what we are striving to do in The Prison Project.

Educating and inspiring incarcerated citizens—and previously incarcerated citizens—

to become their best selves.

We teach the tools, principles, and skills to help returning citizens make better choices, recognize and address trauma, stop their negative thinking patterns, and become more response-able when facing adversity, challenges—and opportunities.

Providing access to lifelong tools.

Incarcerated citizens learn basic life skills that help them in all six areas of life: their psychological, mental, and emotional well-being; spiritual; physical; social; financial well-being; and business and career growth. They learn to set healthy boundaries and walk with integrity – the tools these men and women have likely never had access to.

Teaching employable skills.

Through the GB2B Foundation, we train incarcerated citizens (if they so desire), to become “Prison PRACs,” mentors that walk alongside certified Personal Response-Ability Coaches™ (life coaches), to help teach the GO Broken to Beautiful™ and GO Broken to Badass™ Courses in the prisons and jails. Not only do these certified individuals discover a life of purpose and passion, they help educate prisoners to do the same. This transformational journey gives returning citizens an opportunity for a paying job when released, and an occupation that fosters self-satisfaction, self-worth, and a sense of great accomplishment.

“Aside from the locked bars on the windows and doors, the true prison these women and men are trapped in is of hopelessness, depression, and despair.”

— Rene’e La Montagne Dunn, GB2B Board President and Co-Founder
